TheBrand and Content Communications Specialist is responsible for the content and graphic design activities to support all Specialty Rental North America communication campaigns.
You will provide content for success stories, educational blogs, videos, photos, and support with internal communications in the organization.
You will also be responsible for creating and designing branded items such as calendars, brochures, internal magazines, training manuals, newsflashes, Press releases, and social media posts (Facebook, Twitter, Google +, LinkedIn, and YouTube), among other items.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Create visually appealing graphic designs for print and digital mediums, including email templates, social posts, videos, brochures, website assets, landing pages, and other sales and marketing collateral.
Provide input and feedback during brainstorming sessions and design reviews.
Modify existing designs to improve aesthetics and functionality based on feedback.
Content writing, development, and management:
Write, review, proofread, and edit marketing content according to grammatical rules, AP Style, brand voice principles, and communication best practices for multiple marketing channels.
Develop and maintain a content calendar to consistently deliver high-quality content that supports our marketing goals.
Conduct research to stay current with industry trends to ensure relevant and competitive content.
Responsible for internal branding and ensuring alignment with global corporate identity guidelines.
Knowledge areas/Skills To be successful in this role, you need to hit the ground running, which means you will have 2-5 years of experience working directly with the following:
Advanced level of experience using Adobe Suite, which includes proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
Advanced knowledge with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Prefer experience with video creation and editing.
Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
(Spoken and written knowledge of Spanish and/or French is a plus).
Educational requirementsIn addition to your previous experience and skills, you have:
applicable certifications, or a two year degree, in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or similar.
In lieu of certifications or a two year degree, you may have an additional 2-4 years of experience in a related role.

We need a resilient and positive person capable of handling criticism, who is willing to learn and open to challenges.
You have the willingness to travel from time to time (not very often, 5-10%).
You are expected to attend meetings and conference calls as required.
